The ScanMaker X6 is a 36-bit scanner that offers 600 x 1200-dpi high resolution, a push-button activator, and professional image quality -- all at a new low street price.

The X6 comes in three packages to meet your needs:

• X6 EPP, with an Enhanced Parallel Port (EPP) interface. Using an internal SCSI command protocol, the X6 utilizes Microtek's proprietary EPP chip to convert the parallel signal into SCSI. Through this technology, the scanner "thinks" it is a SCSI device and therefore delivers faster data transfer. This version works on Windows 95, 98, and NT.
• X6 SCSI. This version comes with a SCSI interface and works on all PC's with an external SCSI connection.
• X6 USB. This version works on Windows 98 computers with USB ports. Also available is the LightLid35, a transparency adapter for scanning slides.

All versions of the ScanMaker X6 incorporate a "GO" button for instant relaunching of the Microtek ScanSuite software. With ScanSuite, users can scan, copy, fax, and perform OCR all from within ScanSuite, making this a truly versatile all-in-one utility for performing important everyday tasks.
