Chosing your software is important. You might want compatibility with 
employment or school. Even consider who will help you should you need help.
Obtaining software from friends is not a good idea for many reasons. First, its 
illegal to copy software. Second, you will need master disks later to change 
features or reinstall it. The books are also important.
