Upgrades We can upgrade your old computer one way or another. We prefer to start with a new barebone and reuse as much of your old system as necessary. We can use your AT keyboard (not an XT keyboard) and most floppy drives. Hard drives must be IDE or SCSI types. Video display cards can be used in 486 computers but Pentiums should get a newer PCI card. SIMM memory can usually go into a 486 from your older computer but Pentiums require matched pairs of fast 72 pin SIMMS. Modems can also transfer to your new system but you should consider a 28-8 or at least a 14-4 modem if you have a slower modem. All equipment has a 1 year manufacturers warranty that is new. Upgrading your system is usualy worth it even if the savings seem small. You are, of course, recycling.
