Tape Backup Drives We have always favored Colorado Memory Systems tape drives. We have used the for over 10 years. We have tried many others, but keep coming back to them. Their software is also much easier to use than others. I would first urge you to backup in DOS rather than Windows 3.1 or 3.11. If you must reload your software over, you must first get Windows working to then use your tape drive. The DOS version is also much easier to use than the Windows version. You can use your mouse and it s just so easy. The DJ20 (250 meg was very popular for awhile but now the Travan external is our most used model.
